June 17th: Psalm 17 & Father's Day

First off, I would love to say Happy Father's Day to my amazing husband! Dan is the greatest father-- he is patient but firm, loves playing with the kids, and always treats the kids and me with respect. We couldn't ask for more (unless maybe he could be the same guy but a rich doctor?).
So, Dan, thank you for being my best friend and for helping me raise our rowdy kids!

Psalm 17

 Lord, please hear my prayers. I'm losing patience with my kids, and I'm so tired of not getting enough sleep. I'm not asking you for any evil or selfish reasons, but I need You to hear my prayers! I can't be a good mom when I'm not getting any sleep! 

I call on You, my God, for You will answer me! Turn Your ear to me and hear my prayer. Show me the wonders of your great love, You who save by Your right hand those who take refuge in You from their foes. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wing. Give me rest, Lord, and let me see Your face.
