Today we're celebrating 2 years of blogging at Coffee With Us 3. I have so enjoyed blogging with Kerry and Lucy, and I've learned So much!!!
Going into blogging, I had no idea what all it took. While I had had this personal blog as well as another one, I just wrote what I wanted to, and that was that.
In 3 years, I have found that there is so much more to blogging than just writing. I've been working on better photography. But on top of that, there's networking to do, and working with sponsors, and blogging groups to work with, and it can literally take up any amount of time I can give it. I could easily spend 8 hours a day actually doing blog work.
So in 3 years of blogging, I've also had to realize that I need to put limits on my blogging time, because my family is my priority. And I would never want to look back and see a flourishing blog while my kids are suffering.
If you're interested, here are the top posts for each of the 3 years we've been blogging.

2 Months to go!
I am down to 2 months to go in this pregnancy. My husband says it has really flown by.... for him apparently. Not so much for me.
I am thankful that I've had a healthy pregnancy, but this one has definitely been the most exhausting and uncomfortable one so far (couldn't have anything to do with chasing around a 3 year old and almost 2 year old, could it?). I've already been having a really hard time sleeping.
So basically, I'm ready for the next 2 months to fly by!
Things have been busy here. Emma is getting so imaginative and she's such a chatterbox. She constantly amazes me by how much she's taking in of what's going on around her. She's the sweetest little snuggler, and an awesome helper.
Trevor is wild and all boy. He does things loud. He loves anything that makes noise, and he's constantly using Emma's toys and pretending they are something with a motor (like a chainsaw, vacuum, lawn mower, etc).
Both of the kids have been so glad to get outside. It's been a bit of a rough spring, with a lot of rain and wind, so getting out hasn't happened as much as usual. But when we're outside, the kids love finding bugs, digging in the dirt, and running around.
Emma asked Dan to take the training wheels off of her bike. We had told her last summer that she can't have a dirt bike until she can ride her regular bike without training wheels. So she decided she wants to try. Dan pretended he threw them away, so that she can't keep going back to them. Obviously, she can't ride without the training wheels yet, but she's getting really good at pedaling, braking, and steering while Dan runs behind her!
We bought camper, and we're really excited to do a little camping this summer. It's small and old, but it's paid for and in good condition, so we don't have to feel bad if we only make it out a couple times. Either way, the kids are really excited about it!
So there's a quick update on our lives.
If you haven't checked out my new blog and I write with my friends Kerry and Lucy, you definitely should! We've been having fun and learning about the blogging world. We post 6 days a week, so if you need a recipe or a craft idea, come check us out at here.

Coffee With Us 3
Contrary to the name, our new blog has very little to do with coffee. It's a blog that I've started with my friends Kerry and Lucy (they are sisters, and we've known each other forever). We named it Coffee With Us 3 because we want it to be a place of fellowship, where we can share things that are helping our families, and you can share as well. So check it out. Today marks 1 month of us blogging, and while it's been a lot of work, it's been fun!
So here is a sampling of our blog posts from this past month. Click on the title to take you to the post.

It's A......
GIRL!
We had our ultrasound last week, and everything for baby #3 is looking good.
She's still on track for an August 5th due date. I'm so glad I'm halfway there, but this pregnancy is feeling a lot longer than the other 2.
Baby's name will be Rachel Ruth.
Oh, and I should probably mention that we also got a dog. Spring fever is setting in pretty bad here, so we need some warm weather soon before we do anything else crazy!
The dog (her name is Honey, but I don't really like that, so I pretty much just call her "the dog" or "pup") is a one year old Great Dane/ Mastiff mix. She's really sweet and great with the kids.
Check out my new blog, with posts every day here.

More Changes!
Okay, so I feel bad since it hasn't been long since I switched blogs, but I have some exciting news!
Along with 2 of my friends, Kerry and Lucy, I'm starting a new blog. I'd love to have you check it out, but I will still be posting here sometimes too.
The new blog is coffeewithus3.blogspot.com and it's our take on raising our families, interacting with our spouses, baking & cooking, doing crafts, and more! We'd love to have you check it out- you can see my first blog post on homemade granola HERE.
AND in personal news, I'm now 16 weeks along, and I'm really antsy to find out this baby's gender. I know it seems strange, since we have a boy and a girl already, but for some reason I feel more anxious about it this time! Maybe it's cabin fever, but I'm just so ready to clean out half of the "stuff" downstairs, and then being able to get rid of clothing as the new baby outgrows it, instead of having to hold on to so much!
